Tour Summary

The Nassau Ocean Wall & Reef dives takes Bahamas scuba diving to the next level, allowing you to explore one of the more unique dives located off the coast of Nassau. The Ocean Wall dive allows you to see a different type of underwater scene. While many of the Bahamas scuba diving trips take you out to the fascinating and extensive coral reef gardens, this particular scuba dive excursion takes you to an ocean wall.

The ocean wall that we go to starts off at about 60 feet. The wall then has a gentle slope, down to about 80 feet in depths. After that, there is a sudden drop that goes down to over 500 feet deep! This is the exciting part to see! We do not go down to 500 feet, but seeing that unexpected drop at the bottom of the slope is quite an amazing sight to see.

This underwater habitat is great for a variety of marine species. The type of sea creatures you can expect to see on the Ocean Wall dive include lobster, eel, grunt, snapper, grouper, and then of course the dozens of species of bright reef fish that are common to diving in the Bahamas. The second part of this scuba dive excursion does head out to one of the famous Bahamas coral reef sites, where you will see even more creatures living in harmony in these underwater cities! We run our one-of-a-kind Nassau Ocean Wall & Reef Dive once a week, usually on Thursdays, but make sure to call our office to check the most up-to-date schedules!

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
